I almost titled this post “Favorite Books of Last Year” because I didn’t even want to type the year 2020 – oh well, you understand . . .
Last year brought many surprises, but nothing surprised me as much as the variety I read – see my Goodreads profile for the entire, ridiculous list.

My favorites were – in no particular order – until you get to #1 and it’s definitely my favorite:
#10 – The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse
#9 – Saving Winslow
#8 – Talking to Strangers
#7 – Atomic Habits
#6 – 11/22/63
#5 – The Girl With the Louding Voice
#4 – Deacon King Kong
#3 – The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires
#2 – American Dirt
#1 – Call Your Daughter Home

Do you keep up with your favorites? Do you set reading goals each year? I usually do, but I slack off sometimes and don’t list each and every book I read. I also abandon books very quickly if they don’t “speak” to me within the first few chapters. I also thoroughly enjoy listening to audio versions of books when I’m in the car or exercising.
I hope you find a book off this list to try for 2021.
Happy Reading!
