Book 1 – What I loved about The Red Lotus:
- fast-paced
- plot-driven
- medical mystery/thriller
I listened to The Red Lotus on Libro.fm and it was an incredible audiobook. Bohjalian fans will enjoy it!

Book 2 – Not to be rude, but the characters in All Adults Here made me feel so good about my life. If you need an “escape” book to read full of lots of complicated family drama, this is the book for you. I raced through it and I promise, it made me really appreciate my family and my circumstances.

Book 3 – The Silent Treatment is about a long-time married couple, Frank and Maggie. In what should be their happy golden years, Frank stops speaking. After six months, Maggie makes a decision that forces Frank to confront the reason behind his silence. This is a beautifully written story with such a creative premise, I read it in a few sittings. If you are a person who needs light, airy, fluffy books during this stressful time in our state nation world, you may want to pass this one by. I personally enjoyed it and have no issue recommending it to readers who appreciate contemporary fiction. Frank reminded me of Ove, from A Man Called Ove if that helps you decide.
