Evvie is all packed up and ready to leave her doctor husband after ten+ years of being unhappily married. He is beloved in their small Maine town but she has had enough and finally summons the courage to leave him.
But on her way out the door, she receives a phone call that changes her plans.
Evvie Drakes Starts Over is a light, fun and classic “escapist” read if you need to lose yourself in someone else’s drama.
“A quirky, sweet, and splendid story of a woman coming into her own.”-Taylor Jenkins Reid, author of Daisy Jones & The Six
Romantic comedy is not my favorite genre but because I have so many email subscribers who love it, I decided to break out of my comfort zone and I’m glad I did. Linda Homes did an excellent job with hilarious, oddball characters.
If you enjoy romantic comedy, Evvie Drake Starts Over will surely entertain you.
p.s. Thank you to my avid reader friend Beth, who gave me her copy of this book to enjoy at the beach!
Hey, I just finished The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires – I loved it. This is not a book that I would have read on my own choosing. Thank you for the recommendation.
I agree completely! I can’t believe I read it AND I loved it!🍑
